Larry the Golf Guy interviews a wide variety of guests from within the golf industry – ranging from top teaching pros, club pros at leading clubs, golf architects, industry and golf association executives and others.
A little about me and why I started The Golf Guy Podcast...
I’ve been playing golf since I was 9. I played junior golf extensively at the local and state level as a teenager growing up in West Hartford, Connecticut, and played on both my high school and college teams. That was about as far as my playing career went, but I never lost my love for the game. I am an avid reader and collector of golf books and enjoy the history of the game and golf architecture. I especially enjoy talking with folks in the golf industry generally – be they club pros, teaching pros, architects or industry folks – and that is what gave rise to this podcast.
Our Mission Statement
The Golf Guy Podcast’s mission is simple – good fun conversation with interesting people in the golf industry about what is going on in the game. In addition to the podcast, I will occasionally write blog posts about developments in golf, but the podcast is the main event.
